A highly specialised place, Loch Bay Seafood Restaurant is truly unusual in offering no meat of any description on its menus. Vegetarian options can be provided by prior arrangement when booking.
This fish-lover's paradise sources its ingredients locally wherever possible, including langoustines, prawns, lobsters, crabs, salad leaves and herbs. Other fish and shellfish are sourced through Mallaig. Meal prices average £30.00 per head for 3 courses, although with the large range of fish at different price levels , one can spend less or more. There are more modestly priced items available for llunch including open sandwiches.
This atmospheric, tiny bistro is very often over-subscribed and to avoid disappointment it is genuinely advisable to book. Open for llunch and dinner from Tuesday to Saturday.
